News
April 2024 — Release of the feature film Sasquatch Sunset, following its world premiere at the Sundance Film festival and screenings at the Berlin International Film Festival and SXSW. Lorin served as both movement coach and vocal coach for the film, working with actors Riley Keough, Jesse Eisenberg, Nathan Zellner, and Christophe Zajac-Denek to develop sasquatch movement, behavior, and vocalizations for this entirely dialogue-less film. Opens in select U.S. cities April 12 and nationwide April 19.
February 2024 — Release of the feature film Lisa Frankenstein, starring Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton, directed by Zelda Williams and written by Diablo Cody. Lorin coached Cole Sprouse for several months to develop specialized movement for his non-verbal character, The Creature. Premieres in theatres February 9.
Summer-Fall 2023 — Lorin created movement choreography for Grammy-winning rock band Weezer for their Indie Rock Road Trip tour.
October 2022 — The reboot of horror favorite Hellraiser premieres on Hulu with actor Jason Liles in the role of the Cenobite known as The Chatterer. Lorin helped Liles create the movement for his non-verbal, supernatural character.
March-April 2022 — After being awarded the Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee Theatre Research Institute Research Award from Ohio State University, Lorin spent one month in residence at OSU conducting research in their Marcel Marceau Collections. While there, he also taught a mime theatre workshop for theatre department students and others.
